Some customers thought the commercial was tastefully done and praised Kmart for having a little fun with the Joe Boxer ad.

"I LOOOOOOVE the new commercial!!! We all need to laugh once in awhile! Keep it up Kmart," a customer wrote on their Facebook page.

"Very hip and fun commercial, 2 thumps up," another shopper wrote.

Other Kmart customers were disgusted by the commercial and some said they wouldn't shop at the store during the holiday season.

"That ad is distasteful and not for general audiences - period," one viewer posted onto the Facebook page. "I personally will not purchase a product with an ad that is clearly for the gutter dwellers."

"I'm so sad Kmart has decided to join the world of poor taste in their newest commercial," another viewer commented.

One Million Moms responded to the ad in a post called "Kmart Continues to Cross the Line" writing: "Kmart has a new commercial that is not only offensive- but this once family department store has made a deliberate decision to produce controversial advertisements instead of wholesome ones."

The group asks social media users to let the company know "that as a parent and a consumer you are disgusted by their recent marketing choices."
