A 10-year-old Russian girl has scored a modeling contract from a prestigious agency in Los Angeles. Hailed as the "most beautiful girl in the world," Kristina Pimenova has been in the business since she was three and has worked for Roberto Cavalli, Dolce & Gabbana and Armani over the years. However, her deal with LA Models has received negative attention especially on the internet, The Sun reported.
The future supermodel has amassed millions of followers on social media, which is handled by her mother, Glikeriya Pimenova, 40. It was the older Pimenova who announced her daughter is now professionally associated with agencies like LA Models and New York Models.
Kristina is now represented by @lamodels and @newyorkmodels

But while many complemented the young girl for her beauty, some worry that she may be sexualized at a young age.
"Very, very sad... She's a child. I hope she doesn't ruin her life," said one follower on her Instagram. Some have actually taken to posting disturbing comments, while others accuse the mother of peddling the young girl to pedophiles.
"I pray her parents watch her every move. All these creepy men commenting on here. She is a baby a child!!!! Not a Woman!! A little girl," a Facebook follower said.
"I am certain in my mind all her photographs are absolutely innocent," said Glikeriya Pimenova via Metro. "You must think like a pedophile in order to see something sexual in these pictures, so it is time for you to see a doctor."
Glikeriya Pimenova assures her daughter's followers that the young girl doesn't even look at her social media profiles. She also makes it a point to delete inappropriate comments and block people concerned.
