The Cardonald, Glasgow SPCA in Scotland is currently home to a very memorable and monolithic pet. Atlas is the name of the animal friend in question, and he happens to be a giant rabbit that could grow to be nearly 4 feet long, reported ITV. This bunny is a handful, both physically and in personality.
This is a rabbit that's unlike any rabbit you've ever met. "Atlas is already about the size of a westie and is still young with some growing to do. He is a very friendly rabbit who loves attention and getting cuddles. Atlas is also an inquisitive boy who makes everyone laugh with his mischievous character," said Anna O'Donnell, the Scottish SPCA's Cardonald branch manager, according to the Scottish SPCA. He sounds like fun to us!
Atlas was left at the shelter by his previous owner, who was unable to properly care for the 7-month-old goliath. Now, they're waiting to hand Atlas over to the perfect forever home, reported The Guardian.
"We are looking for a specific home for Atlas due to his breed and size. A standard rabbit hutch won't do so his new owner will need plenty of space for him. Atlas needs an owner with the knowledge to properly care for him, so ideally someone who has kept a continental giant before. If anyone is interested in offering him a home they should give us a call," said O'Donnell, according to the Scottish SPCA.
If you're in the area and fit the criteria, open your home to Atlas!
