Uruguay plays Jordan on Wednesday in a 2014 World Cup qualifier. The playoff game begins at 6 p.m. ET. A free live stream link is provided below.

Uruguay claimed the first leg of the playoff against Jordan. With a 5-0 win under their belt, Uruguay forced Jordan into a nearly impossible hole to climb out from. Despite the overwhelming odds against Jordan forcing extra time on Wednesday, Uruguay manager Oscar Tabarez isn't letting his club relax.

"This is a serious match, not a training session," he told reporters, via Sky Sports. "The score difference makes this match a little bit strange. We are sure of what we want, what the stadium will be like and what supporters want from us.

"When there is no need, there is no motivation, but as soon as we get closer to the environment, we'll settle down and I hope we can play a good game."

Even with a spot in Brazil next year all but guaranteed, Tabarez insisted Wednesday's qualifier would remain competitive with his usual starters set to play.

"It is still a very important game, therefore we are not going to make a lot of changes," Tabarez said, according to IB Times. "Whenever we play a match, the team we introduce to the pitch depends on who we are playing and the circumstances of that match.

"We are not here to give playing time to the players who don't deserve to be on that pitch. They have to earn those caps and the chance to play by playing well for their teams or when we play friendlies."

Jordan, meanwhile, is already beginning to look ahead to the 2018 World Cup and hopes to end their 2014 qualification campaign on a positive. Although it's improbable Jordan will qualify, boss Hossam Hassan is happy with his club's progress - they're the only Arab team to get this far.
