There are rumors that Outkast could be reuniting after a 7-year hiatus. According to Billboard, Andre 3000 and Big Boi will be hitting the stage together for next year's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, Calif.
"Multiple sources" told the magazine that the duo is in talks to perform together, on the same stage, at the same time at the event. One source said there has been "some conversation" while another claims it's "all systems go" for Andre and Big Boi to end their break.
Coachella begins Apr. 11, 2014 and according to Billboard Outkast's performance at the festival could also include "other festival dates."
There were rumors last year that the duo was putting out a new album but Andre said it wasn't true.
"There's been a lot of talk on the Internet about an Outkast album and I have to say that as of now, there are no plans for another Outkast album," he told GQ.
Outkast split in 2006 to focus on their solo careers after releasing the movie "Idlewild" and the accompanying soundtrack. Their 2003 double album "Speakerboxxxx/The Love Below" gave the group two No. 1 singles - one for "Hey Ya" and one for "The Way You Move - on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
They also received a Grammy for album of the year in 2004. Since they released their last album, Bog Boi has put out two albums "Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty" in 2010 and "Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors" in 2012.
Andre has also been busy doing a couple guest verses on songs for artists like Drake, Ke$ha and B.o.B. He will also be in the upcoming biopic "All is by My Side" about Jimi Hendrix.
