Jay Breen, a 32-year-old man from London who had a chance meeting with a woman whom he shared a cab with after arriving at Heathrow Airport is now looking for the woman he believes could be the love of his life. He failed to ask her for her number, but she dropped a shoe when she exited the vehicle. Now, Breen is conducting a modern-day "Prince Charming" search for her with the help of social media.
Breen spotted the mystery woman at the airport and was prompted to ask her to share his cab when she appeared to be lost, according to Cosmopolitan.
They talked on the way to their separate destinations and Breen was struck by cupid's arrow. "She's really gorgeous, and she pretty much filled the cab with energy that I've not experienced in a long time," he told Daily Mail.
After the cab dropped the woman at her stop, Breen thought he would never see her again. He sees her Nike running shoes as a sign that he'll get the chance to meet her again.
Breen posted a plea on Twitter to help find the mystery girl and shared a picture of her shoe.
He describes the woman as Caucasian, 5'2" in height, with blue eyes and brunette hair. She was wearing blue jeans and a black top and had a large navy blue backpack when he met her on Jan. 23.
"We chatted about where we'd both traveled – Thailand and Australia. She has a sister and loves London. I think she may have mentioned Southampton, but I'm not entirely sure. I'm really bad with accents," he added in recounting the story to the Daily Mail.
Since posting his plea on Twitter, the modern-day Cinderella fairy tale is yet to conclude but Breen is counting on potential social media fairy godmothers to do their magic on his behalf. The taxi company is also helping Breen find his potential princess.
