Last week's episode of "Scandal" was the best one to date, hitting us with the a lot of reveals in the span of an hour.
The episode's last reveal was that Maya Karin (Olivia's mother who was supposed to be dead) is ctually alive and in a secret prison.
Khandi Alexander, who plays Maya, recently did an interview with EOnline and according to the interview-Team Mellie/Fitz and Team "Jalivia" shippers are going to be fans of hers.
Alexander told EOnline she used to be a Fitz/Olivia shipper until she learned that Fitz's father raped Mellie (Bellamy Young). She explained the tragedy that happened with Mellie swayed her more than Fitz's (Tony Goldwyn) secret.
"Actually, after the Mellie revelation, that was more powerful to me than shooting down the plane, because now that I know her backstory and what she sacrificed... It's like, she can't be with him," Alexander explained speaking of the Olivia and Fitz relationship.
Alexander also gave a pretty simple reason for why she likes Jake (Scott Foley) over Fitz -- she "loves Scott Foley ".
"I have always loved Scott Foley," she told EOnline. "I mean excuse me if I had the choice, hello! I mean, what's the problem here?! Either or! Absolutely I'd take Scott Foley. And Tony, I'd take that, too."
During the interview Alexander also talks about her love for Lisa Kudrow, how she got the role for Mama Pope and why she was utterly surprised stylist Lyn Paolo (who Alexander also worked with on "ER") asked her this question:
"'Okay, so what size jumpsuit do you want?'"
"And I said, 'Wait, what? Excuse me?' Because I had no idea what I was doing," she told EOnline.

According to the preview for tomorrow's episode, Maya is going to ask to do something she hasn't been able to do in over 20 years-see her daughter.
