Revenge Season 3 Spoilers: Daniel Grayson Wants to Die; Josh Bowman on His Wishes for His Character's Future

As we’ve watched Daniel Grayson (Josh Bowman) over the course of three season’s he’s shown he can be conniving and vindictive. However, for the most part he’s been a pawn in Emily/Amanda’s revenge plot.

However, according to TVGuide.com, Bowman wants his character to have a drastic change in Season 4. As in, he wants Daniel to go completely over to the dark side.

"He should be despicable, disgusting and emotionless — worse than Conrad," Bowman said according to the website. "Everything that he never wanted to be times 10! For me, that would be fun and the only way to keep him around."

The reason Bowman said “keep him around” is probably because he's actually looking to make sure his character is not around after Season 3.

"I'm trying to pitch a Daniel death by the end of the season," Bowman said. "I love working on the show, but I'm just being honest. My character has flip-flopped the most, and it's been so hard for me to play."

TVGuide.com reports Bowman plans to let the producers know what he’s thinking.

If Daniel were to turn into a major villain this season, he may not be the only person. In a recent interview with Michael Ausiello, editor-in-chief and founder of TVLine, showrunner Sunil Nayar said “everyone” is going to have a little fight to them.

“Emily’s quest for vengeance will always be alive, but there’s going to be a major shift — not only in her approach to it, but in other people’s approaches to her,” Nayar told Ausiello. “Suffice it to say, gloves are coming off and everyone’s getting into the ring.”

“Revenge” airs Sundays at 9/8c on ABC. According to EW.com, it will move to the 10/9c slot midseason.
