All you Mellie/Fitz and Jalivia shippers out there probably jumped for joy last week after the president stood up for his wife like a guard dog after the reported asked Mellie a pretty uncomfortable question.
In a sneak peek of tomorrow’s episode provided exclusively to TVLine.com, Mellie is watching the memorable scene. She isn’t exactly jumping for joy but as you can imagine she’s swooning over what she seemed to be a pretty significant turning point in her marriage. However, as the sneak peek rolls on, we soon realize that isn't the case.
While Mellie is reminiscing on the interview, Fitz gets up and says “Don’t wait up.” Where has he gone? You guessed it. To call Olivia. Unfortunately for Jalivia shippers it looks like she plans to answer the phone. You can watch the sneak peek here.

In a recent interview with EOnline, Khandi Alexander (who plays Maya Karin, Olivia’s mom), said she is a fan of Mellie/Fitz and Jake/Olivia.
She told EOnline, that after learning about Mellie’s rape and “what she sacrificed”, she though Mellie should be with the president over Olivia. She also explained why she’s a fan of Jake Ballard (Scott Foley).
"I have always loved Scott Foley," she told the website. "I mean excuse me if I had the choice, hello! I mean, what's the problem here?! Either or! Absolutely I'd take Scott Foley. And Tony, I'd take that, too." You can read Alexander’s full interview with EOnline here.
In tomorrow’s episode, Alexander’s character is going to demand something from Rowan—the chance to see her daughter.
