The Los Angeles Clippers visit the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday. Tipoff is at 8 p.m. ET. Live stream and radio broadcast links are provided below.
Oklahoma City (7-3) hasn't gotten off to the start they wanted. The return of Russell Westbrook to lineup gave the Thunder an immediate boost with the guard's playmaking ability, but the team has struggled on defense.
"We're going to keep fighting to the last possession," Thunder coach Scott Brooks said, via ESPN. "That's always been a trademark, but we can't just turn it on the second half. We have to correct that. It's my job to find combinations where guys are going to play with more defensive force. ...
"We want to have better focus on guarding the ball and staying in front of the ball by putting pressure on the ball and making (opposing players) feel you on the defensive end. When we do that, our activity and our length and our athleticism can really help our defense."
The Clippers got the better of the Thunder in their first meeting, winning 111-103. Brooks said he wants to see more consistency from his team, including a better effort in the first halves of games.
With an 8-4 record, the Clippers appear to be congealing under new coach Doc Rivers. Chris Paul is another reason for the Clippers' success. The perennial All-Star has a record 12 straight games with a double-double, and he's averaging 19.5 points and 12.5 assists per game.
"It's just cool to see the ball go through the net," said Paul. "I'll take it whenever. Fourth quarter is winning time and we're all competitive, but as the leader of the team, me and Blake, we know that's when it's time to win."
