Kanye West is certainly not afraid to share his opinions and during a Nov. 20 concert at the Barclay Center in Brooklyn the rapper went on yet another rant. This time West ranted about several topics including Bruno Mars, Oprah Winfrey, Nike CEO Mark Parker and the MTV VMAs.
The rapper told the audience about an experience he had at the Video Music Awards over the summer saying that record producer Rick Rubin approached him to offer some unsolicited advice, VH1 reports. West said Rubin asked him if he was going to perform at the event and when he said yes he told him to "just do your song and leave."
Apparently Rubin felt it would be better if the "Black Skinhead" rapper bailed after hitting the stage to avoid any problems. West didn't leave after his performance and ranted to the audience that MTV gave Bruno Mars "all the mother**king awards and s**t."
"Can't no mother**king networks try to gas everybody up so they can sell some product with the prettiest mother**ker out," West said. "I still ain't see a video better than Beyoncé video till this mother**king day."
MTV pointed out that Bruno only won two award that night - Best Male Video for "Locked Out of Heaven" and Best Choreography for "Treasure."
West then continued his rant lashing out at Oprah Winfrey for telling him to "stop scaring people."
"I sat down with Oprah and she said 'They scared of you 'Ye, they scared of you 'Ye... She just said you have to learn how to fail. I said Oprah, it's a new day," he told the cheering crowd.
Those weren't the only people to feel West's wrath. He also called out the gossip site mediatakeout.com and the people who comment on it labeling it "Mediagetyourassletmeseeyourfacei'mgonnaf**kyouuptakeout." Halfway through his 10-minute rant the rapper was interrupted by someone trying to talk to him in his earpiece which briefly threw him off track and upset him.
"When I go on my rants it's like a stream of consciousness, it's like meditation and s**t," he said.
He also had a few choice words for the fashion industry in general for wanting him to stick to just designing sneakers when he wants to design everything and for Nike CEO Mark Parker downplaying the success of his Air Yeezys.
