To recap the big points:
-Showrunner Scott Gimple is again employing time jumps. Love this narrative technique. This time around, it will show a tranquil Alexandria without the horde of walkers and the trail of bodies they left. Apparently, Carl is OK too, which is kind of a bummer.
-Rick and Daryl are on a supply run when they meet fan-favorite comic book character Jesus. Hijinks ensue. Jesus is brought back to Alexandria as a prisoner, but it's clear by episode's end that he is much more than what is on the surface.
-Carl and Enid do stupid teen angst stuff. Ugh. I'd rather be torn apart by walkers than subjected to anymore of this.
-Michonne and Spencer kill zombie Deanna.
-Rick and Michonne have sex. Wait, what? Scott Gimple is just going to drop that bombshell on us like it's nothing? Holy crap. I need time to digest this.
-Alexandria is planning a two-week supply run that, as TSDF even hints at, will inevitably go horribly wrong.
There you have it. It sounds like Gimple is just putting his chess pieces into place before implementing his master strategy.
"The Walking Dead" airs Sunday nights at 9 pm EST on AMC.
