On Tuesday TMZ revealed that Sir Paul McCartney was denied entrance to a Grammys after-party that was supposedly hosted by the rapper Tyga. The 26-year-old boyfriend of Kylie Jenner showed up to "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" to poke fun at the situation and insisted the party was not hosted by him, he was just a musical guest.
"I had no knowledge. I was inside performing," Tyga told Kimmel. "I wish I knew he was outside, I would've went out there with a mic and brought him in to perform with me."
Kimmel then revealed it was in fact the fire marshal at the party who would not let McCartney in due to fire codes.
"Tweet the fire marshal, not me," Tyga told the audience.
"You'd think fire codes wouldn't apply to Beatles, there's only two of them left," Kimmel said. "Worst case, they both show up."
While Tyga said it was not his fault McCartney was denied at the door, he still tried to make it up to the legendary singer by inviting him to one of his upcoming shows in Los Angeles.
"Paul, if you're watching this, I would love for you to come," Tyga said as he looked into the camera. "I will personally walk you in."
