Wisconsin plays Minnesota on Saturday. Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m. ET. A link to the live radio broadcast is provided below.
Wisconsin (8-2) visits their Big Ten rivals at the TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. Quarterback Joel Stave has helped the Badgers to their record with 1,948 passing yards and 16 touchdowns, but the story of Wisconsin's offense has been their running backs.
Behind a stout offensive line, the tandem of sophomore Melvin Gordon and senior James White have accounted for more than 2,400 rushing yards - Melvin has 1,306 yards and 12 touchdowns, and White has 1,156 yards and 12 touchdowns.
While the Badgers have been productive on the ground, the team's defense is another big reason for their 8-2 record.
"Indiana averaged (over) 40 points per game and we gave up three," Wisconsin lineman Beau Allen told the Associated Press of the team's 51-3 win over the Hoosiers last week. "In our minds that's three too many. Hopefully that continues. The way we prepare and our offensive plan will allow us to do so."
Wisconsin's run defense has been nearly impenetrable in the inaugural season of its switch to a 3-4 scheme. The Badgers' defense allows an average of just 4.3 yards per game and a total of 98.8 rushing yards per game, according to the Associated Press.
"We started off the season with a high ceiling, and I think we really have grown each week," said Badgers linebacker Chris Borland. "That's the mark of a great team and a great defense is to improve weekly. Guys are improving by leaps and bounds both individually and as a unit."
Minnesota, meanwhile, also has an 8-2 record. Running back David Cobb has 942 yards on the ground and seven touchdowns. Minnesota is looking for its fifth straight win on Saturday after handing Penn State a 24-10 loss on Nov. 9.
