Afghanistan will take on United Arab Emirates in the first qualifying group match of the Asia Cup Twenty20 International (T20I) 2016 at Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Outer Stadium in Fatullah, Bangladesh on Friday.

Afghanistan, Oman, Hong Kong and United Arab Emirates (UAE) will play each other in qualifying group matches of the 14th edition of Asia Cup, according to IBN Live. The winner of qualifiers will join India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and host Bangladesh in main round of the tournament, which will be played at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur from Feb. 24 to March 3.
India-based mobile company Micromax has awarded title sponsorship for the T20 championship.
"ACC is delighted to have Micromax as title sponsor of the event and we look forward to working together to deliver a successful event," Asian Cricket Council president Thilanga Sumathipala announced on Wednesday, according to PTI.
