South Africa is hosting England for four Tests, five ODIs and two T20Is. The visitors won the Test series by 2-1. Proteas, on the other hand, claimed in ODI series by 3-2. Both sides are now looking to utilize the two match T20 series as a preparation for Twenty20 World Cup, which will be played in India in March and April.

South African coach Russell Domingo hinted that skipper AB de Villiers will bat near the top order in the World Cup.

"AB will bat near the top of the order at this event. For a couple of years, the experience wasn't what it is now so we felt we had to keep AB in that (lower) position," he said, according to NDTV Sports.

"I don't see why not. It's definitely the best side I've been involved with in T20 with a hell of lot of young ball-strikers and a good bowling attack as well. I think it's a really exciting time, with the talent and firepower we have in our squad, people who can hit sixes all the way down to No11. I think we've got a good chance," England's in form batsman Alex Hales remarked on his side's T20 World Cup winning chance, according to Guardian.
