After watching every single one of his films in a performance art piece titled #ALLMYMOVIES, actor Shia LaBeouf is at it again with a brand new piece called #ELEVATE. The actor and his frequent collaborators Luke Turner and Nastja Säde Rönkkö have taken over an elevator at EC Oxford in the United Kingdom for the next 24 hours, and the entire thing is being broadcasted on YouTube.
"Visitors will be able to join LaBeouf, Rönkkö and Turner inside the elevator during [the 24 hours], and are invited to address the artists, the debating chamber, and the internet, so that their collective voices may form an extended, expansive and egalitarian Oxford Union address," the description of the live feed on YouTube reads.
The live stream shows LaBeouf interacting with people on the elevator and talking about both lighthearted and personal topics. One woman asked the actor what kind of fruit he would be while a different person asked LaBeouf to tell her about the most interesting, fun or difficult moment in his life.
"The last couple years have been pretty interesting," he replied, according to Entertainment Weekly. "Just because it's been a lot of turmoil and also a lot of positive. It's been a lot of extremes. It's been a very extreme couple years."
This is not the first time LaBeouf has adventured into the world of performance art. In addition to #ALLMYMOVIES, the actor recently hosted #TOUCHMYSOUL in Liverpool, England where he along with Rönkkö and Turner answered tons of phone calls and asked the people on the other end the same question: "Can you touch my soul?"
