League Of Legends 2016: Team Immortals

We are headed for week six of the NA LCS Spring Split 2016, and yet Immortals continue to shine with their 10-win, zero-loss standing. But just who or what is Immortals?

Team Immortals is actually one of the debuting teams this year. But despite being a new team, its roster boasts the biggest names in the League of Legends gaming scene.

The team's top lane position is taken by South Korean Heo "Huni" Seung-hoon, who ranked 14th at The Worlds Top 20 League of Legends players by LoL Esports, during which time Huni was a beloved team player for Fnatic of the European LCS.

Also from Fnatic is Jungler Kim "Reignover" Yeu-jin, who is well known for performing great plays with Huni while they were still with Fnatic. Now, the duo still manages to bring their game play as they team up with other great players to make Immortals the team to beat for 2016.

Mid lane player for the team is Eugene "Pobelter" Park, who once played for NA LCS's team Counter Logic Gaming. Pobelter is known for his defensive playing style, which perfectly counteracts Huni's unpredictable gaming instincts, as well as negates the aggressiveness of the team's fourth member, AD Carry Jason "WildTurtle" Tran, who once was the AD Carry for TeamSolo Mid but was replaced by Doublelift - thus his new allegiance with Immortals, according to ESPN.

To complete the Immortals' roster is support player Adrian "Adrian" Ma, whose support skills were doubted by his previous team, Team Impulse. However, as he plays now with Immortals, he showed great skills that he has been dubbed "Immortal of the Immortals" for having zero deaths from the beginning, until two weeks into the 2016 NA LCS Spring Split, according to another ESPN Esports article.

While the team is young and is composed of fairly diverse members with different experience and nationalities, this did not stop it from living up to its team name, continuing to be "immortals" as they face week six of the competition, which will be on Saturdasy, Feb. 20 at 3 p.m. EST.

Immortals are currently the best debuting team since the LCS started, and if you want to catch them showcase their skills on the Summoner's Rift, check out LoL Esports YouTube channel for the live streams.
