Revolution has completed the first half of its second season and, to be frank, it has been way better than the entire first season.
Here are the three reasons the second go-around is better than the first:
No. 1-A big bad that we've STILL never met
For almost all of last season, we knew the big bad was Monroe. We also knew a lot about Monroe through various flashbacks. One of the best things about this season is that we still haven't met the President of the "United States of America." All we know is the POTUS is a dark figure that was at Guantanamo Bay. "Revolution" fans will continue to anticipate the moment we know who is the he is.
No. 2-Teamwork
Watching Monroe join the team this season has been one of the highlights. He's saved Charlie and they've had some weird chemistry. Also, watching him and Miles fight side-by-side is like watching LeBron and DWade. As a whole, Charlie, Rachel, Miles and Monroe have all worked pretty well together against the Patriots. On Tom's end of things, father and son have worked much better together than last season. Now, that Julia Neville is back in the picture, we'll get to see the entire Neville family in action. Nevertheless, I know we're all waiting for the moment when all our heroes come together
No. 3-Superpowers
We know now the secret behind Aaron's powers but nevertheless, it was still nice to see him incinerate people. Usually lighting people on fire with your mind is always cool.
