It's been six weeks since the three arranged couples met and married at the altar on FYI's hit reality TV series "Married at First Sight," and now that the social experiment has come to an end, the couples must decide whether they want to stay married or get divorced. In a sneak peek for the Tuesday night part one of the season finale, one wife questions her marriage, one husband expresses doubts and another husband remains hopeful.
Neil Bowlus & Samantha Role
Bowlus and Role had a rocky start in the beginning of their marriage, from when Role admitted to her husband's face that she didn't find him attractive to their first argument during their honeymoon. But even though their relationship has progressed in the last half of the experiment, Bowlus still has his doubts on whether they're out of the woods yet. "I took a jump not knowing who I was gonna marry. Is there another jump left? I don't know," Bowlus tells the cameras while a clip shows him laughing with his wife when they met at the altar on their wedding day, then cuts to a clip of them high-fiving during a rock climbing activity.
Tres Russell & Vanessa Nelson
Russell and Nelson were the only couple to share a mutual sexual and physical attraction to one another, and they remain the only couple who consummated their marriage this season. But they experience problems as they tried to connect with one another on a deeper level, and Nelson still questions their connection after spending six weeks together. "Do I really know him, do I really know anything about him at all?" Nelson asks.
David Norton & Ashley Doherty
Norton and Doherty never seemed to be able to connect on an intimate level, which stems from Doherty's unwillingness and inability to open up to her husband. The couple got down to the root of their problems when Doherty finally admitted that she is not physically attracted to Norton, but Norton betrayed her trust when he asked another woman out for drinks. Doherty says she moved on and is willing to give Norton a second chance, and Norton remains optimistic about his marriage. "I can't say I've had any relationship grow as much as ours in six weeks," Norton says.
