Samsung has official unveiled its latest smartphones, the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge at the Mobile World Conference in Barcelona.
The S7 Edge will have a slight bigger, curved screen at 5.5 inches, while the S7 remains the Samsung-standard 5.1 inches. Both phones also feature a curved back, making them easier to hold, Fox News reports. Each phone also boosts longer battery life, as Samsung has bumped the S7 Edge up to 3,600 mAh while the S7 will have 3,000 mAh.
The camera in each phone has also been adjusted to 12 megapixels, but Samsung said they are bigger pixels. The camera will also have a lens with a wider aperture, faster shutter speed and more accurate autofocus.
Each phone will come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and will be resistant to both water and dust.
The phones offer a hybrid SIM card tray that allows for up to 200 GB of extra storage. Samsung has also designed its phone with gamers in mind. Game Launcher offers a way to manage battery consumption and also minimize pesky notifications.
However, Forbes warns of two surprises that customers should be aware of including the downfall to the expandable storage and the phones will not have more than 32 GB of storage.
No pricing has been released, according to Fox News.
