Indianapolis Colts News: Jim Irsay Explodes On Twitter After Cardinals' 40-11 Rout On Sunday

Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay took time on Tuesday to rant on Twitter about his team's shortcomings. The Colts, which have been blown out twice in three weeks, have a chance to all but lockup the AFC West with a win on Sunday against Tennessee.

Indianapolis lost 38-8 to the Rams on Nov. 10, but the team bounced back the next week with a 30-27 win over the Titans. The Colts' slim win didn't carry over on Sunday when they played the Cardinals, which handed Irsay's team a lopsided 40-11 loss.

Irsay refrained from commenting on the blowout until Tuesday afternoon, when he took to the internet to voice his frustration:

"7-4, 2 game lead, 5 to go with our injuries (and) schedule is something we'd take 3 months ago/But the play n last 10 out of 12 quarters - ALARMING

"In Golf you're allowed 14 clubs...but if you're playing with 9 clubs...U got to (hold) a 8 iron (and) hit it like a 4 iron! Improvise and find a way!

"Must find a way 2 win Division, no excuses, no explanations..hide weaknesses, accent strengthens/We gotta get our heads out of r butts - WAKE UP!

"I didn't break the bank, millions cash over cap/Load Brinks Trucks, only to be hijacked n stormed on the way 2 stadium by machine gun MANIACS!

"We'll close ranks n stick together n BELIEVE! We'll get it fixed n earn our Div/Camp Hats/Failure is not an option!! How Bad Do WE Want It!"

He followed it up with an announcement that they'll be collecting cell phones on Sunday for charity.

Indianapolis hosts Tennessee on Sunday. The Colts close out the season with games against Cincinnati, Houston, Kansas City and Jacksonville.
