Kansas police have reportedly identified a suspect in the case of four mysterious deaths of a mother and her three children.
Now, they're on the hunt for the man they think committed the crime.
According to authorities who spoke with Reuters, 29-year-old Cami Umbarger and her three children were discovered dead in the southeastern Kansas town of Parsons, located about 150 miles south of Kansas City.
A statement released by the state's attorney general's office did not specify the location or time that Umbarger and her children's remains were found. The causes of their deaths have not yet been publicized also.
Kansas law enforcement is currently searching for David Cornell Bennett Jr., 29, according to the statement, but little is known about the man, particularly his relation to Umbarger and the three young kids.
Bennett reportedly lives in a town called Cherryvale, located about 20 miles west of Parsons.
The Parsons Police Department, Kansas Bureau of Investigation, and various other law enforcement agencies have been tasked with investigating into the group murder, the Witchita Eagle Reported.
Police first heard of Umbarger's disappearance when concerned co-workers alerted them to the fact that she didn't show up for work on Monday.
The children are said to be an 8-year-old girl, a 5-year-old boy and a 4-year-old girl.
