We're about to get a blast from Jess' past.
According to TVLine.com, Adam Brody has been brought on to play Jess' ex-boyfriend Berkley. Brody is best known for his role as Seth Cohen on the "O.C.". He was most recently on the "The League" and "House of Lies."
The website reports, Berkley considers himself the perfect ex-boyfriend. He's seemingly remained really good friends with Jess and is also a stay-at-home dad. Fans will meet Berkley in an episode slated to air in early 2014.
Speaking of ex's tonight's episode of New Girl is going to feature a showdown between Cece's ex Schmidt and Coach, the guy with whom she just went on a date.
According to a video provided exclusively to TVLine.com, Schmidt is trying to feel out what's going on between Cece and Coach. In the video we see Schmidt casually ask Coach how the date went. Coach responds with a response that's just as casual, "Eh, I loved it."
In this episode, Nick has decided to carry the entire gang to have Thanksgiving in the woods. Things eventually go bad, including Coach and Schmidt's fight. Cece, becoming fed up, decides to stop the madness between Coach and Schmidt.
She says, "We are going to solve this right now, alright?"
"Take your pants off."
According to EOnline, show creator Liz Merriweather recently said Coach and Cece's one date, may simply stay at one date.
"I'm not sure if the Cece-Coach relationship is going to go forward. I think it might have just been this one date that they go on," Merriweather said. "I think that Cece is just wanting to kind of like get back out there and go on a date with a really hot guy, so I think that's kind of what is going on in her head. "
