Dice Releases First Patch For Battlefield 4 on PS 4

Battlefield 4, the most bug infested game from DICE is reportedly bricking many PlayStation 4 consoles. The game developer has finally resolved the problem and has come up with the first ever patch for the game version on PS 4.

The game developer claims the patch will resolve most of the concerns faced by both single and multi player modes. The left outs will be addressed in the next patches as the company is working round the clock to fix all the bugs.

"We've included a number of fixes that should further decrease the amount of crashes and increase the overall stability of the game," said Vincent V. Vukovic, community manger for DICE, reports Gamespot.

"We will continue to increase stability going forward, stay tuned," Vukovic added.

The update is said to resolve the following issues for Battlefield 4 on PS4, reads the update on the official site.

  • Fixed common crashes that could occur when changing weapons or maps.
  • Reduced the probability of a corrupted save file in the single player campaign.
  • Fixed a crash occurring when resuming the single player campaign.
  • Fixed a bug where accessing PlayStation Plus subscription resulted in a connection error.
  • Improved performance when shooting at destroyed Levolution objects.

The company plans an event by next weekend where it will offer double XP on the game to pacify its holders.

The game will be offered for only $24.99 on Gamestop on Black Friday.
