Frankie Muniz announced on Twitter that he suffered a second mini-stroke almost a year after his first health scare.
"Almost a year to the day, I experienced another mini stroke," he posted on Twitter. "Hopefully that will be the last. Miserable."
The "Malcom in the Middle" star didn't elaborate on his condition and didn't reveal if he had sought medical attention. On Nov. 30, 2012 the actor and musician posted on Twitter about the first mini-stroke he had.
At that time Muniz had just finished working out in his Phoenix hometown and was riding his motorcycle back to the home of his fiancee's mom when his vision started to go blurry, the Los Angeles Times reports. Muniz said eventually the vision in his right eye completely went and by the time he reached the house he couldn't speak.
"I thought I had something on the visor of my helmet," he told People magazine last year. "I couldn't focus out of my right eye. By the time I got to her mom's house I pretty much had no vision in my right eye."
"I was really dizzy and in a lot of pain in my whole body and my head," he continued. "My hands were numb. I didn't really have good balance and I was almost dropping the bike. I never had this before. I was like 'What's going on?' I felt like I was getting stabbed in the head - the worst headache you could ever think of. I couldn't see anything."
The 27-year-old actor said his fiancée Elycia Maria Turnbow was home at the time and immediately took him to the hospital where he was treated and released. According to TMZ, doctors never found out what caused the mini-stroke.
"I consider myself to be very healthy," he told People adding that he has never done drugs or had alcohol. "I'm home and trying to relax and get ready to head back to work. My biggest problem is I always want to be working, going nonstop. So it's a wake-up call to take a little time and relax a bit."
