Before Jenna Dewan Tatum was an actress, she was a professional dancer who worked with major stars like Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera and Missy Elliot. The wife of Channing Tatum stopped by "The Late Late Show with James Corden" Wednesday night to take dance classes from toddlers in a segment called "Toddlerography."
On last night's episode, Corden asked the "Step Up" actress if she was ready to take a dance class from "the harshest, toughest, group of choreographers in all of Los Angeles."
The British talk show host then brought out multiple small children to teach them dance moves to the tune of Sia's new song "Alive." Corden and Dewan Tatum then had to follow the exact same movements of the toddlers, which included a lot of running around the dance studio, high kicking and jumping up and down.
Corden and the "Supergirl" actress both looked like they walked right out of a dance workout video from the 1980s in the sketch. Corden wore white sneakers, socks pulled up to his knees, a cutoff sweatshirt and a sweatband, while Dewan Tatum wore leg warmers, high-waisted spandex shorts and a scrunchie in her hair.
"That was intense," said Corden when the song was over.
At the end of the dance class, Corden, Dewan Tatum and the toddlers were all so exhausted that they required a "cool down," which was actually just code for nap time.
