'Hot Mom' Maria Kang Banned From Facebook For 'Fat Shaming' Women, Again? Fitness Enthusiast Comments On Curvy Girl Lingerie's Campaign Go Viral (READ IT)

Maria Kang, better known as social media's fitness enthusiast nicknamed "Hot Mom", was banned from her Facebook account after a second post was deemed as "fat shaming" to woman, again.

Kang posted her thoughts about a morning news segment that was about how woman should embrace and love their body, even if they are considered "overweight." The morning news story she was reportedly referring to was a feature on Curvy Girl Lingerie.

"I woke up this morning to news stories about how overweight nearly obese women should be proud of their bodies (as they posed in lingerie). I think we should all accept how any healthy body through good nutrition and exercise manifests but I'm starting to get annoyed," Kang began her now deleted Facebook "rant."

"We need to change this strange mentality we are breeding in the U.S. and start celebrating people who are a result of hard work, dedication and discipline. I'm not bashing those who are proud and overweight, I am empowering those who are proud and healthy to come out and be the real role models in our society. (Vent done)," Kang wrote. In a matter of hours, Kang's social media post gained more than 10,000 likes and 2,000 shares. However, the post was reported and deemed offensive by Facebook. Kang was banned from the accessing her page for 48 hours, but it was reportedly an error on the behalf of the social media site.

"The only thing I feel bad about is if I hurt someone's feelings. They should love themselves, but they should want to make themselves better," Kang told Yahoo! Shine, explaining she wasn't sorry for her comments, but upset her point may have been misconstrued.

However, Curvy Girl Lingerie owner Chrystal Bougon told Yahoo! Shine Kang she could "F*** off," understanding that the fit mom has her own opinion, but wants her to stay away from her brand. (Read the full Yahoo! Shine story here)

"For most of us Curvies, we will have rolls, bumps, lumps, scars, stretch marks, surgery scars, breasts that are natural and that have breast fed our babies. And we can still be STUNNING and BEAUTIFUL," Bougon wrote on her store's official Facebook page.
