A police officer in New Jersey bravely saved an unconscious man from his burning vehicle on Monday night, NBC40 reported.
The heroic actions of Patrolman Scott Krissinger were recorded on his dashboard camera when he rescued 61-year-old Gerald Ferrill from his truck, engulfed in flames.
"I had a million things going through my head," Krissinger said of the incident that occurred in West Cape May. "I just remember the smoke coming out ... I couldn't see anything."
After pulling Ferrill to safety, footage shows the officer running back to the car to make sure there were no passengers inside.
"When I went to the passenger seat, again, I couldn't - you see me feel across the passenger seat cause I couldn't see anything," he added.

Captain Rob Sheehan of the Cape May Police Department called his officer "a hero in every sense of the word," adding "we're very happy to have him as a member of our department."
Despite being applauded for his actions, Krissinger claims any of his fellow officers would have acted the same way.
"I think any of us officers at the Cape May Police Department, they would've done the same thing, I truly do," he said. "it just happened to be me."
The investigation into the crash is ongoing, though officers claim the truck was being driven on a flat tire with sounds coming from the engine.
Ferrill was listed as in critical but stable condition.
