It is undeniable that the Bronco is one of Ford's most iconic vehicles. With rumors abounding that Ford is planning to release a new version of the beloved SUV by 2020, talented Bronco fans at Bronco6G.com have taken matters into their own hands, releasing a concept design for the 2020 Bronco, reports FOX News.
What's pretty impressive is that the concept art is absolutely perfect. The designers at Bronco6G have taken it upon themselves to include cues from both the original and the early '90s version of the vehicle.
"For our Bronco concept, we fused styling elements from previous Bronco generations, the 2004 Bronco concept, and modern Ford trucks and SUVs. You can see the classic round headlights and square inset front grille evolved from the 1st gen Bronco, which was also showcased in the retro-futuristic 2004 Bronco concept," one of the Bronco administrators said, according to Road and Track.
Indeed, from the renderings on the forum, the site's 2020 Bronco Concept includes everything that fans have loved about the SUV, from the rugged body-on-frame design that retains the tall, boxy, tough, no-frills utilitarian design that endeared the vehicle to fans for the last few decades, reports Bold Ride via Yahoo! News.
Of course, only time will tell if Ford will incorporate some elements from the concept designs of Bronco6G in the upcoming Bronco model. Regardless, Ford could be certain of one thing: There is definitely some very strong support for the Bronco.
