There are a lot of mysteries we as fans are trying to figure out. What is Tom really up to? Who's Elizabeth's dad? What in the world is the apple-eating man's true motives?
While we continue to wonder about and speculate the answers to those questions, Red has a more immediate question to answer-Who betrayed me?
"Who can [Red] rely on besides Elizabeth Keen?" executive producer John Eisendrath said according to TVGuide.com. "He'll have to work out whether or not he can come to trust anyone again because he suspects that someone within the FBI or government turned against him to give Anslo Garrick information to find him in the black site."
For those of you wondering about Tom, Eisendrath recently told TVGuide that fans will have to wait just a bit longer to get those answers.
"A lot of the back half of the season will be about answering questions about Tom," the EP said. "Who is he? Ultimately, helping to answer the question: Is he good or is he bad? Always giving the audience concrete answers, but hopefully opening up other ones.
"Also, the back half of the season will be a lot about Tom and Liz. And then also the question about whether or not Red is Liz's father is one that we will be giving concrete answers to even as we may leave the ultimate answer for later."
