If you're a foodie and a Harry Potter fan, you've definitely wondered what all the wizarding world's delicacies taste like. Butterbeer, Chocolate Frogs, Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans, Acid Pops, Hagrid's Rock Cakes, Pumpkin Pasties, Cauldron Cakes, Sherbert Lemon, Steak and Kidney Pie - the list goes on and on, reports Bustle.
For many Harry Potter fans, dreams came true and vacations were planned when The Wizarding World of Harry Potter opened at Universal Studios Orlando in 2010. Now, a Wizarding World of Harry Potter will open at Universal Studios Hollywood, reported HNGN, and West Coast Potter fans are rejoicing.
Many visitors to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando are there to ride the rides and attractions, like The Flight of the Hippogriff and Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts, or to shop for their own wand and robes, explained the park's website. However, if you're all about the food, there are dozens of options that bring the wizarding dishes of your dreams to life in either of the park's main Harry Potter areas.
Hogsmeade exists at the Universal Studios Islands of Adventure, while Diagon Alley is located in Universal Studios Florida, a short ride away on the Hogwarts Express, explained the park's website.
In Hogsmeade, you can try Hogwarts' Great Feast Platter or a Cornish Pasty and wash it down with a Butterbeer or some pumpkin juice at The Three Broomsticks. If you're of age, you can try The Hog's Head Brew at The Hog's Head Pub. Then, walk down to Honeydukes and get your hands on some Bertie Bott's Beans, some Exploding Bonbons, Fizzing Whizzbees and more, says the park's page on Hogsmeade.
In Diagon Alley, you can visit the Leaky Cauldron for some classic British food like cottage pie, scotch eggs and fish and chips while you sip some Butterbeer. Then you can make your way to Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlor, where scoop and soft-serve options are available in normal and magical flavors, says the park's page on Diagon Alley.
Save your appetite for magical fare only while you visit the park! Once Universal Studios Hollywood opens for business, we'll report back on the food there as well.
