Arbaaz Khan Opens Up About Divorce, Says He's Afraid Of Losing Malaika

Arbaaz Khan has finally opened up about the relationship he shares with Malaika Arora Khan, to whom he has been married for 17 years.

Arbaaz Khan said that he is "possessive" when it comes to his wife and is "afraid" of losing her following rumors that the couple was headed for splitsville.

The couple made an appearance together on the TV show "Yaar Mera Superstar," putting an end to all the divorce speculation. In the interview, the "Dabbang" director said that although he was not possessive about Malaika Arora Khan earlier, things are different now.

"It happens. When you achieve something or someone, you don't want to lose the person. I love Malaika but I'm possessive about her," Arbaaz Khan said. "It wasn't like this when she was younger or I was more new into the relationship, but it has happened now. She is very precious and dear to me. I love her more than anything else in the world. I'm afraid of losing her now."

Arbaaz Khan also admitted that he's recently started listening to Mrs. Khan more. "I think with time you don't have an option but to listen to your wife. The power has shifted now and has gone to Malaika. I also feel that after a certain age, women take control of things and lives," he added.

The couple has a 14-year-old son together and has also featured on the reality show "Power Couple," which they hosted as a pair.

Last month, Arbaaz Khan lashed out on social media against gossipmongers and expressed his anger over speculative reports that his marriage with Malaika Arora Khan is in trouble.

"Stop frickin reading too much into mine and malaika's Instagram pictures and speculating about our marriage and writing sh-t everyday," he said at the time. "It's not my work or films you are talking about, it's my personal life and marriage and we owe no one any explanations so back off !!!"

"Will talk about my personal life if and when I want to so mind your own business and stop speculating, It shouldn't be hard to understand," he added.
