While it's great that Rob Kardashian has finally come out of hiding after avoiding the spotlight for over a year, he's been causing a lot of drama within his family since he started dating Blac Chyna. Now he's been seen hanging out with his sister Khloé's ex-boyfriend, French Montana, and it has everyone wondering if this is another way to get back at his family, or just some causal guy time.
On Tuesday, the 31-year-old rapper posted a video from his Snapchat to Instagram of him and a slimmer-looking Rob joking around about chicken.
"Get them bags ready we coming," the Snapchat text reads. "@robkardashian get ready!!!!" he then captioned the video.
While this may seem like another case of Rob being disloyal to his family, it's not completely unusual as he and Montana have been friends for years, and even Khloé and Montana have remained good friends since they split in 2014. The exes were even spotted in a photo together last month, which immediately sparked romance rumors, but she has confirmed that there's nothing going on between them.
"It's frustrating that I can't even celebrate my friends birthday with a group of people without rumors flying!" she tweeted at the time, adding, "Why is it hard to believe that exes can be cordial? Simple simple simple minds. Don't make nothing into something."
Since Rob and Chyna have gone public with their relationship, things between the siblings have reportedly been tense as Chyna used to date (and has a baby with) Tyga, who is Rob's little sister Kylie Jenner's current boyfriend. Despite all the drama, Chyna has really helped Rob get back on his feet and live a healthier lifestyle, which was much needed after his health scare in December.
"[He's] lost another 10 pounds and has really been taking care of himself," a source said. "It really all is because of Blac Chyna. Chyna is great...She has brought this new side of him out, the old Rob! He's really having a lot of fun."
He's also being difficult when it comes to seeing his family. Khloé wants him to appear as a guest on her new hit show, "Kocktails With Khloé," but he refuses to come unless he can bring his new girl.
"Rob's ready to talk publicly about his love for Blac and he doesn't mind helping his sister Khloé out by doing it on her talk show. But for him to be on her shoe, he wants to bring 'his family' - Black and her mother, Shalana," another source said. "Rob and Shalana are super tight these days. They talk constantly. They're like buddies now."
Since Shalana has been known to diss the Kardashian sisters in the past, he is apparently looking to let that go. "Rob understands why she said some of the things she said about his family and he has forgiven her," the source added. "Rob knows Khloé wants him on her show for ratings and she's using Kris [Jenner] to help make it happen. But as far as Rob's concerned, he and Blac are one unit and he considers her mother family. If you get Rob, you get Blac and Shalana. No exceptions."
