Lindsay Lohan is rumored to be furious with Rockstar game developers for allegedly using her likeness in "Grand Theft Auto V" without her permission.
TMZ reported Lohan has instructed her lawyers to "take action" against the popular game for using her image. Lohan is allegedly demanding "serious money" from the game developers.
According to the gossip site, here is the rundown of "evidence" that Rockstar may be in for some legal trouble:
-- The video game cover shows a woman holding a cellphone who looks Lindsay-ish. There's been debate over whether it looks more like Kate Upton or Shelby Welinder.
-- Part of the game features a mission where a Lindsay Lohan look-alike asks the player to take her home and escape the paparazzi.
-- Another part of the game shows another Lindsay-like character at a hotel resembling the Chateau Marmont hotel in West Hollywood -- a place Lindsay not only frequents but once lived at -- and the mission is to photograph her having sex on camera.
However, neither Lohan's camp nor Rockstar Games have confirmed an alleged lawsuit. This also wouldn't be the first time the actress has gone after a big name.
According to the Huffington Post, Lohan filed a lawsuit against rapper Pitbull for using her name in a lyric for the song "Give Me Everything" in 2011. The actress claimed the lyric was "disparaging and defamatory," but the judge dropped the case in February 2013.
"Even if the defendants used plaintiff's name in one line of the Song without her consent, such conduct is insufficient to meet the threshold for extreme and outrageous conduct necessary to sustain a claim for intentional infliction of emotional distress," the judge ruled, The Wrap reported.
Pitbull's lawyer released the following statement to E! News after the lawsuit was officially dropped:
"This will further solidify the rights of artists to express themselves in song. He felt it was very important to address this head on to protect his right and the rights of other artist. He decided to fight this."
