Michelle Rodriguez Mourns 'Fast and Furious' Friend and Co-Star Paul Walker

Following the tragic death of actor Paul Walker, friend and "Fast and Furious" co-star, Michelle Rodriguez, recently took to her Facebook and Twitter pages to mourn the star and honor his life, Yahoo! omg reports.

"I'm gonna carry this torch for you brother, with a forced smile on my face and Im gonna open my heart just cause your telling me to," the actress tweeted of her late friend, who lost his life after his Porsche slammed into a light pole and burst into flames on Saturday, Nov. 30.

Investigators have ruled out the presence of a second vehicle in the crash and any speculation that Walker may have been drag-racing, CNN reports. Walker crashed on the way to a charity event to raise money for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.

Rodriguez posted a throwback photo of herself and Walker in 2001 and another of the pair in 2013. Walker's close friend and co-star, Tyrese Gibson, visited the crash site on Dec. 1 and experienced an emotional breakdown while viewing the wreckage. Also on Sunday, Dec. 1, Walker's father, Paul Walker III, CBS2 of his son, "I'm just glad that every time I saw him, I told him I loved him. His heart was so big. I was proud of him every day of his life."
