Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are the Hollywood couple everyone's jealous of. They're the definition of "Relationship Goals" and it's obvious just how in love they are. When they first revealed that they were having a baby, they immediately won fans over with the adorable announcement photo and the couple hasn't stopped making us swoon since.
They've been seen looking happier than ever at every red carpet event, as Teigen is always dressed to pregnancy perfection, and her Instagram is filled with even cuter photos of her and Legend preparing to be first time parents to their baby girl. On Sunday, the 30-year-old model and 37-year-old singer celebrated this special time in their lives with a fun-filled princess-themed baby shower in New York City.
"Luckiest girls around," Teigen captioned a photo of royal-themed pink cookies.
She also shared a shot of her kissing Legend, who was rocking a bedazzled "Baby Daddy" crown, on the cheek. She later revealed that she had a matching look as she posted a photo of herself wearing a "Baby Mama" crown. Teigen was dressed in a curve-hugging white dress with a beautiful gold-and-white trench coat.
Legend took to his own Instagram to share a selfie in the crown, writing "#BabyDaddy #BabyShower."
Teigen has been very open about undergoing in vitro fertilization as the couple had been struggling with getting pregnant. She even recently admitted that they chose to have a little girl over a son.
"I've made this decision. Not only am I having a girl, but I picked the girl from her little embryo. I picked her and was like, 'Let's put in the girl,'" she told People last month. "I think I was most excited and allured by the fact that John would be the best father to a little girl. That excited me. It excited me to see... just the thought of seeing him with a little girl. I think he deserves a little girl. I think he deserves that bond. A boy will come along. We'll get there too, so it's not like we really have to pick. But he definitely is very lucky to have a little girl. And this girl is going to be so completely lucky to have John as her papa - it's crazy!"
Shortly after she revealed that they had made this choice, people on Twitter naturally freaked out, but Teigen made sure to defend the process she went through. "From reading everything tonight, I think I made a mistake in thinking people understood the process better than they do, which is my fault," she tweeted. "We didn't create a little girl. We had multiple embryos. Girls and boys. We simply chose to put in a female first (and second)... we didn't 'throw away' anything and still would love to have more of both in the future. Hard to explain such a complicated process here... You'd be surprised at how many people you know go through this. Also every doctor knows the sex of the embryos, it isn't some grand secret."
