Kim Kardashian almost broke the Internet yet again when she posted a nude selfie on her Instagram account earlier this week, which caused a divide amongst celebrities in the Great Nude Selfie Debate of 2016. Some celebs were quick to criticize Kardashian's choice of going full frontal on camera, but others offered their support by praising Kardashian for celebrating her sexuality.
In the photo, which was taken last March, the 35-year-old "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star stood completely naked in front of a mirror in what appears to be a bathroom. Her blonde lob was styled in messy waves and she held her phone up to the mirror with her head tilted to the side. Before posting the pic, she placed a black bar over her chest and pelvic area. She captioned the photo: "When you're like I have nothing to wear LOL."
Now, Kardashian's younger sisters Kylie and Kendall Jenner, comedian Ellen DeGeneres, TV personality Sharon Osbourne and actress Emily Ratajkowski have all taken their support a step further, posting their own version of Kardashian's nude selfie in solidarity with Kardashian.
Osbourne, 63, paid homage to Kardashian by also posing full frontal in a bathroom mirror and placing black bars over her private areas. She tweeted the photo along with the message: "@kimkardashian you inspired me! #liberated #thetalk."
DeGeneres, 58, had a little fun with her tribute to Kardashian. She photoshopped a photo of herself sitting in the bathtub that appears in the bottom left corner of Kardashian's original photo, with a black bar over her chest and her hair covered up with a white towel. DeGeneres captioned her shot: "When you're like my friend has nothing to wear."
Younger sisters Kylie and Kendall each paid homage to their big sister in more subtle ways. Kendall was spotted out during Paris Fashion Week wearing black high-waisted pants and a straight, black bandeau top that looked just like a black censor bar. Kylie posed in her bathroom mirror, wearing bikini bottoms and a black bandeau top as well.
Ratajkowski, who is also attending Paris Fashion Week, put her own spin on the nude mirror selfie. She posed in front of a bathroom mirror, turning her body to the side and strategically placing her phone in front of her chest. She paid homage to Kardashian's original caption and wrote: "What to wear tonight? #PFW."
