Justin Bieber kicked off the North American leg of his Purpose world tour Wednesday night in Seattle to thousands of screaming fans who have waited years for the pop star to go back out on the road.
The first concert of the 58-date tour saw the Canadian sing some of his biggest hits, but started off with the pop star emerging from a glass box that was suspended above the stage. Bieber started the night off with the song that became known as his "comeback single," the dubstep-heavy "Where Are Ü Now," before he launched into a 90-minute show that was not short on theatrics. During his performance of "Company," from his new album "Purpose," a huge trampoline descended from the ceiling as the 22-year-old and his backup dancers jumped above the crowd.
"I'm thrilled to continue my relationship with my friends at Calvin Klein on the tour," Bieber said in a statement released today. "Calvin Klein is an iconic brand and it's been a dream come true to work with them."
Bieber's Purpose world tour is his first one in three years. The North American leg ends July 19 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
