Manchester City sits third in the Premier League standings and trail first-place Arsenal by six points. Man City (8-1-4) responded to their 1-0 loss to Sunderland on Nov. 10 with three straight Premier League wins. The club, coming off a 3-0 win over Swansea City, may receive a boost with the possible return of skipper Vincent Kompany.
"Kompany is in the squad list and will travel with the team," City boss Manuel Pellegrini told reporters, via Sky Sports. "I think Vincent is a very important player. He is a very good defender and of course we need him."
West Brom (3-6-4), meanwhile, is 12th in the Premier League standings. The club has struggled walking away with wins, and their last three games resulted in two draws and one loss.
Pellegrini, however, doesn't think West Brom's record reflects the talent on their roster.
"It is a very strong team. I saw the two games that they play against Arsenal and Chelsea and the last game that they drawn at home against Aston Villa. I think they are a very strong team. They are a difficult team," Pellegrini said, via IB Times. "We need to play a very good game to get the three points tomorrow. Not only defending but also attacking because they defend very well."
