Google is helping its users to make their holiday pictures even more awesome by introducing two new auto-awesome features that automatically convert the image into an animated GIF.
It is the holiday season and what better time than this to introduce more users with added interesting features. Google is targeting holiday pictures because everyone wants them to be special. Google+ may not be ranked among the top most social networking services, but it has its dedicated fan-base. The major attraction point for Google+ is its exceptional Auto-Awesome feature that allows automatic editing option for photos uploaded on the site. Now, the Auto-Awesome is getting two new additions called Twinkle and Snow.
The latest update adds more life to a picture by converting it to an animated GIF. Google's Erik Murphy-Chutorian announced the two new additions, Snow and Twinkle, in a Google+ post Thursday. Users can upload a new photo with snow and Google will add snow that is actually falling, making it look livelier. "Upload a new photo of something that sparkles (like a Christmas tree or a chandelier), and we'll gift you a version with lights that actually twinkle," Murphy said in his post.
Google is working on its strongest points to attract more and more users. Since the web giant received much appreciation for its photo editing tool during its launch at 2013 Google I/O, using it for its own benefit is understandable. Google's Auto-Awesome offers Action Mode, which takes a series of burst shorts before creating a perfect picture in action. There is Auto Awesome Movie mode and Auto Awesome Eraser.
Google will take a photo that is submitted and make necessary changes with the preferred mode. Once it is completed, users will receive a notification saying their #AutoAwesome image is ready.
