Tabloids were raving Friday after actress Heather Locklear and 15-year old daughter Ava Sambora posed for pictures at the premiere of “Scary Movie 5,” according to the Daily Mail.
Locklear, 51, looked strikingly similar to her daughter in physical appearance and, more surprisingly, in age.
The two were dressed alike and sported much of the same look. Sambora and Locklear both had curvy blond hair, wore summer-themed dresses.
Sambora may be on track to follow in her mother’s acting footsteps. She appeared in the recent film “This is 40", marking her acting debut.
Despite her prospective career she is still required to attend school.
'It should be illegal to make kids wake up this early for school,” she wrote on Twitter Thursday morning.
Richie Sambora, member of the band Bon Jovi and Locklear’s ex-husband, say he and his ex-wife try to make sure all the lights and cameras have not had a negative effect on their daughter.
“Throughout my parenting I have given her a moral barometer, because when they become teenagers, they're going to be away from you more than they're going to be with you, they're going to make their own decisions,” he said earlier this year.
After his split with Locklear, Sambora began to date actress Denise Richards. Richards was previously married to Charlie Sheen. Cameras spotted Sheen and Locklear together at the "Scary Movie 5" premier.
