Google is extending its musical reach into another key market in Europe by launching its popular Google Play Music All Access for users in Germany.
After announcing the U.S. launch of Google Play Music All Access at Google I/O in May, the web giant has expanded its reach into various countries around the world. By the looks of it, Google does not plan on resting until its cross-platform on-demand music streaming service reaches every potential market. The latest announcement brings its musical service to its users in Germany.
Google has always offered an introductory deal to the newcomers of its All Access service in all new markets. Keeping up with the trend, the web giant is giving a 30-day trial period of Google Play Music All Access in Germany and a discounted rate of €7.99 ($13) per month. The offer lasts till January 15, 2014, after which the subscription will revert to its standard pricing, €9.99 ($15) per month.
"With today's launch, Google Play moves one step closer to your ultimate digital entertainment destination, where you can find, enjoy and share your favorite apps, games, books, movies, magazines, TV shows and music on your Android phone or tablet. Go ahead and start discovering a whole new world of music," Paul Joyce, Google Play Music's product manager, wrote in Google blog in August, according to HNGN report.
Google not just expanded its musical storefront to different countries but also offered and got an approval from Apple to host Google Play Music on iOS, last month. The app offers up to 20,000 songs stored in the cloud and gives unlimited streaming to All Access subscribers. The web giant also added SD card support to its musical app in an update rolled out Thursday.
Google currently offers the Play Music All Access in 20 international markets including Germany. These include Australia, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, and United Kingdom.
