The title favorite New Zealand will take on Pakistan in its third Super10 Group 2 match of International Cricket Council's (ICC) Twenty20 World Cup 2016 on Tuesday at Punjab Cricket Association in Bindra Stadium in Mohali.
The Black Caps, which registered two back-to-back wins in their first two WT20 encounters, are now aiming to seal a semi-final berth by winning a third consecutive match of the global twenty20 championship's main round.

The Kane Williamson-led Kiwi side, which defeated hosts India in its opening match early last week, won its second match against Australia in a low-scoring thriller at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamshala on Friday. New Zealand had first posted a modest 142 for eight in twenty overs and then successfully defended the target by restricting Australia to 134 for nine in 20 overs.
"We had enough time to study from the way the Australians bowled. After Watson's second over or halfway through the first, I walked over to Timmy (Southee) and (Trent) Boulty and Nate (Nathan McCullum) and kind of picked their brain. We realised it was not a yorker wicket. It was really hard to time off back of a length and cutters and change-ups. Every time someone went on pace they got pumped. That assessment was made pretty early," New Zealand pacer and man of the match, Mitchell McClenaghan, (3/17) said.
Pakistan, on the other hand, produced mixed performance in the tournament so far. The Shahid Afridi-led side began their WT20 campaign on winning note as they defeated Bangladesh in their opening match. However, they were defeated by five wickets by India in their second match of main draw on Saturday night.
