Victoria's Secret model Lindsay Ellingson shared a beauty trick she says is what many of her colleagues do to appear effortlessly gorgeous every day. It's also the same trick that Victoria's Secret Fashion Show angels use before and after work, so that they always look fresh, as if they just woke up from a nap.
Ellingson has had years of experience in her field, so she's used to getting made up. She also has access to some of the best products and experts in the business, but she understands that not everyone has the time for the tedious process of putting on beauty products. Over the years, she has learned a few beauty hacks from the people she has worked with and she's sharing some of these now that she's a beauty entrepreneur herself.
"This is a fun trick I learned backstage at the Victoria's Secret fashion show," the model shared on her QVC blog, where she recently launched her makeup line called Wander Beauty. "The key makeup artist, to my surprise, applied lipstick to our cheeks. After that was blended he applied foundation on top to slightly mute the color," she added. "This gave us a very natural flush to our cheeks. In fact, you can apply almost any lipstick to your cheeks, this is especially great if you're in a rush and only have room for one product in your bag. I recommend sticking with hydrating lipsticks that won't tug on your skin."
As for eyes, Ellingson shared that using the "V" trick allows her to look like she has managed to get enough sleep even when that's not the case. With her Wander Beauty's Flash Focus cream foundation, Ellingson draws a "V" below her eyes and then blends this with the Wander Cushion. This makeup tool works like similar to Beauty Blender but comes in a modified shape.

Ellingson also recommends highlighting the eyes when you have little time to do your makeup. Champagne or bronze shades are great for making the eyes look bright and bigger. Then, just right below the arch of the brow, she suggests using a highlighter or concealer and blend for a quick touch up. The same technique is also applied on the top of the brow to look refreshed. "It's such a quick tip but really does make a difference, it's an easy way to achieve a more youthful appearance at any age!" the model shared.
