The Atlanta Braves brought in John Hart to oversee the front office and rebuild the team in order to prepare for the start of the 2017 season when the new SunTrust Park opens. They also, apparently, brought in a new chef because their concessions for the 2016 season are not your ordinary ballpark franks.
Sure, the Braves have a ton of promising young prospects thanks to recent draft picks and trades, but what's more exciting to fans than a burger in between two slices of pizza? Or a hot dog covered with just about everything imaginable?
Forget about Dansby Swanson, Sean Newcomb, Touki Toussaint, Mallex Smith and others. Say hello to the Burgerizza, The Everything Dog, The Punisher and the Tater Tot Chop.

The Braves made a pretty good choice by improving their menu for the 2016 season because it's pretty evident no fans will be going to the games to watch the team win. Each night will be more of a social event in which fans go to hang out with friends and have a few beers, but now they'll be enticed to spend $26 on a Burgerizza, which might help make up for the lack of tickets they'll be selling.
While 2016 doesn't look bright for Atlanta, the future of the team remains among the most anticipated in baseball. On top of the aforementioned prospects, the Braves also have Ozzie Albies, Kolby Allard, Austin Riley, Tyrell Jenkins, Manny Banuelos, Max Fried and others, in addition to those on the MLB roster (Ender Inciarte, Hector Olivera, Freddie Freeman, Jace Peterson and more).
The future of the team looks bright. And whoever is working in the kitchen for the organization decided to mirror Hart's strategy and begin making the future of the concessions look promising, too.
