Gwyneth Paltrow dedicated her latest project to her two children and their famous friends. The actress is releasing her third cookbook, "It's All Easy: Delicious Weekday Recipes for the Super-Busy Home Cook," which contains more than 125 of her favorite recipes.
The dedication at the beginning of the cookbook includes a long list of first names of kids who have some very famous parents, including Blue Ivy (daughter of Beyoncé and Jay Z) and her own two children, Apple, 11, and Moses, 9, who she shares with ex-husband and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.
The other kids who got a shout-out from the actress include Rob Lowe and Sheryl Berkoff's sons Matthew and John Owen; Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman's daughters Olive and Frankie; Ryan Murphy and David Miller's sons Logan and Ford; Nicole Richie and Joel Madden's daughter Harlow and son Sparrow; and Jerry and Jessica Seinfeld's kids Sascha, Julian and Shepherd.
"It's All Easy" follows in the footprints of Paltrow's previous cookbooks: "It's All Good: Delicious, Easy Recipes That Will Make You Look Good and Feel Great," "My Father's Daughter: Delicious, Easy Recipes Celebrating Family & Togetherness" and "Notes from My Kitchen Table."
The family-focused book from the 43-year-old includes recipes that are "surprisingly tasty, with little or no sugar, fat or gluten." The recipes are all for easy meals that busy parents can make like Chocolate Cinnamon Overnight Oats, Chicken Enchiladas, Pita Bread Pizzas, Spicy Shrimp Ramen and Coconut Key Lime Tarts.
"When I sat down to start this book, I had been polling my friends and colleagues on what sort of cookbook they were looking for," Paltrow wrote in the book's introduction. "These friends all seemed to have a common culinary yearning: They wanted a collection of recipes that they could prepare easily. They wanted to find themselves in the kitchen at the end of their overextended day and be able to prepare something delicious and quick."
Paltrow recently went on "The Kyle and Jackie O Show" in Australia to promote the book where she also discussed her two kids and their eating habits.
"Luckily, they serve lunch at school so that's, like, one thing that is off my plate, thank God," she said. "And when they go on a field trip... when they were younger, it was like, 'Oh, I'm gonna make, you know, a little soba noodle salad and a little wrap and all this stuff and now, literally, I'm like, 'Here's a Nutella sandwich. Have a good time.'"
"It's All Easy: Delicious Weekday Recipes for the Super-Busy Home Cook" hits stores April 12.
