Hailey Baldwin is moving up in the modeling world. The 19-year-old is following in the steps of her famous model friends, like Bella and Gigi Hadid, and signed a contract with IMG Models. She announced the exciting news Wednesday night.
While Baldwin just singed with IMG, she is by no means a newbie to the fashion industry. The model got her big break with an editorial for Love magazine and also appeared in the publication's annual advent calendar video series. The daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin also appeared in spreads for W, Wonderland, Vogue and i-D.
In addition to her print work, Baldwin has also worked with big name brands in the fashion industry like Topshop, Ralph Lauren Denim & Supply, H&M and Philipp Plein, and has walked the runway for Tommy Hilfiger's fall 2016 show and Sonia Rykiel's show during Paris Fashion Week.
IMG is one of the biggest agencies in the world, representing some of the most well-known models like the Hadid sisters, Karlie Kloss, Taylor Hill and Kate Moss. Prior to signing with IMG, the up-and-coming Baldwin was with Heroes Models and Ford Models earlier in her career.
Baldwin may be killing it in fashion right now, but the most famous pictures of her have nothing to do with modeling. Over the New Year's holiday, the model was seen all over Instagram on a romantic vacation with her longtime friend Justin Bieber in Anguilla. During the trip, both Bieber and Baldwin posted numerous pictures to their social media accounts of them being very affectionate towards each other, including a captionless photo of the two in the middle of a steamy kiss.
Most recently, Baldwin was spotted at Bieber's Purpose World Tour stop at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. While the two seemed to be very close, Baldwin insists the two are just friends. "I've known him for a long time, since I was about 13," Baldwin said in February. "He's just going through a time in his life where he's transitioning in a really positive way and he needs good people around him. And I'm trying to be a good friend and be there for him and support him."
