Is Jelena making a comeback? Selena Gomez and her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber added fuel to the dating rumors when the former Disney star was spotted in the audience at the Canadian pop star's Los Angeles stop of his Purpose World Tour on Wednesday night - just days after Bieber posted a sweet throwback photo of the former couple kissing.
Gomez and Bieber have a complicated relationship history. The pair met in 2009 and were first spotted out together in 2010. They dated off and on until their official 2014 split. Since then, they've each released new albums and have spoken openly about their relationship. Although they each have been romantically linked to other people since their breakup, sources say the pair might be headed for another reconciliation.
The former couple is currently "talking" about getting back together once their schedules clear up after they each complete their respective world tours, a source said. Both are still committed to their careers and their music, but remain supportive of each other. Gomez was reported to have had an "amazing time" at her ex's concert last night.
"[Selena and Justin] looked genuinely comfortable together. They both looked really happy," the source continued.
Fans in the crowd spotted the "Same Old Love" singer standing in the audience and posted photos of her on social media, and she posed for photos backstage before joining Bieber in his dressing room.
Bieber seemed to have been reminiscing about better times with Gomez last week. He posted an older photo of himself kissing Gomez on Instagram, captioning the shot "Feels." Gomez reportedly commented on the post, writing "perfect."
Even though Bieber has been romantically linked to model Hailey Baldwin and Gomez was rumored to be dating One Direction member Niall Horan, they still remained close throughout the years. Gomez recently opened up to Elle magazine about her bond with Bieber.
"I'll forever support him and love him in a way that... We grew up together. I think people want it to be different," Gomez said. "We're too young for that. Nobody was married. There was no... I respect him. And I think he respects me, in a healthy manner."
