Things are becoming very unfortunate for our main characters on "The Vampire Diaries" - especially for Damon and Elena.
"Delena" fans' favorite couple most likely began a rough patch at the end of last week's episode. Damon revealed he's been killing members of Aaron's family for the past few decades as a part of his plot to get revenge for being used as a test subject. Elena has forgiven Damon for many things, but is it possible he went too far this time?
Elena may be even more mad at Damon, since she's now had the pleasure of meeting the vampire Damon thought was dead - Enzo.
As we learned from last week's episode, Enzo is all about revenge plots. Is it possible Enzo will use Elena in a revenge plot against Damon? Damon did leave him to die in the Whitmore house fire.
As you can see in this week's preview, things look up a bit for Stelena fans. Since Damon can't really rescue Elena at the moment, it will be up to Stefan to save the day. He has captured Aaron and is holding him hostage in a plan to make a trade for Elena. However, it doesn't seem Dr. Maxfield is ready to just give Elena up and forego his research.
While this news is good for Stelena fans, last week's kiss between Katherine and Stephen is not. Who will Stefan choose? EOnline reported a surprise hook-up was coming. Was last week's 'Statherine' encounter the surprise? Or will the below clip lead to the Matt/Katherine hook up some fans suspect?
